Job Title:
Graphic Designer
Part time – casual, as projects develop.
Reports To:
Director of Sales and Marketing
Primary Function:
Working with Director of Sales and Marketing and other GRI staff on developing new print and digital media for the George Risk Industries’ and Labor Saving Devices’ product lines.
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Oversee photos and photo editing
- Create new layouts for printed literature, mini catalogs, fliers, full line catalogs, advertisements, special items
- Maintain literature files
- Design new product spec sheets
- Coordinate with engineering on product drawings
- Update and maintain website
- Design product labels, cards, boxes, packaging, etc.
- Work with our distributors on advertising and marketing campaigns
- Social Media updates and posts
- Review all work for accuracy
- Other duties as requested
Qualifications:
- Prior Graphic Design experience
- Strong creative and technical skills
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Highly organized
- Ability to work on multiple projects at a time
- Professional approach to time, costs and deadlines
- Ability to implement quick revisions
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office including Power Point
- Proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop and Acrobat specifically. Experience with Illustrator, Bridge, Lightroom and Premier Pro preferred.
- Proficiency with WordPress and associated plugins including Gravity Forms, Memphis Docs, etc.

- General Keyboard Assembler
- Stockroom Clerk
- Engraver
- Heat Stamp Operator
- Keyboard Inspector
- Head Printer
- 100 % Inspector
- Ultra-sonic welders
- Assembly and soldering of PC Boards
- Line Leader
- Knowledge of all assembly operations on the line
- Knowledge of all fixtures, jigs, tools and machines required to build products
